International Day of People with Disability

On 3 December every year International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is celebrated worldwide recognising the achievements and contributions of people with disability.
IDPwD brings together people with disability and the general community and aims to showcase the skills, abilities, contributions and achievements of people with disability, promote a positive image of people with disability, involve people with disability and the broader community in activities to celebrate and raise awareness of IDPwD.

Big West Festival 2009

Big West Festival, Melbourne's premier community-based contemporary arts festival of the west presents 10 days of installations, events, music, song, film and live performance exploring life, the domestic, home, dispossession and possession. 20-29 November 2009

Wild: Amazing animals in a changing world

Melbourne Museum is set to launch Wild: Amazing animals in a changing world, an exhibition featuring more than 700 mammals, birds and reptiles from all around the world. Animals in the exhibition include Giant Panda, Polar Bear Asiatic Lion, Sri Lankan Giant Squirrel, Indian Rhinoceros and monkeys to name a few. From 13 November 2009.

Queenscliff Music Festival 2009
