Dear Whites Supporters,
I, on behalf of my
team-mates, would like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting
the Mighty Monash Whites this season.
The Whites
"team" (the players, coach and support staff) are especially mindful of a
wider Whites community - the "club" (past players and current day
supporters). We appreciate all that you do in getting along to games and
supporting us when we take to the field. The players are always happy to
have a crowd, no matter how small, to cheer us on. We thank you all for
the banners, the streamers, the vocal encouragement and the ever present
pats-on-the-back.
We are also very
grateful for the financial sponsorship offered by many past players and
supporters. I'd like to make a special mention of Greg Gross, from the
Carringbush Hotel, who has generously provided substantial funds over the
years and continues to do so.
Finally, thank-you to
Mike Petrescu for continuing to sustain the Whites legacy through
this website which keeps so many of the past-players, supporters and
current-day players so well informed.
The Whites will
be back again in 2009. We hope we can count on your support as we seek out
that elusive premiership.
