The Bendigo Film Society has operated since 1961 and aims to allow members to view some of the best cinema currently available, including some non mainstream films, and to look back at some of the classics.

OzFilm, or Australian Film, is dedicated to providing students of film and media, and not just those interested in Australian cinema, with an extensive and valuable resource through which to study the magic of cinema within a national context.
The site is administered by Dr Tom O'Regan, who is the author of Australian National Cinema (Routledge, 1996) and Australian Television Culture (Allen & Unwin 1993). He was, with Albert Moran, co-editor of Australian Screen and An Australian Film Reader. Dr O'Regan was also a founding editor of Continuum: The Australian Journal of Media and Culture .
