Shorinji Kempo ю@(Shorinji Kempo in Kanji) is a traditional Japanese martial art. Everybody is welcome to enjoy and train in Shorinji Kempo Melbourne. We welcome both male and females of all ages. Unlike other forms of self-defence which require physical strength and conditioned bodies, Shorinji Kempo is based on speed, balance, and body movement. In this way, a small person can overcome a larger and stronger opponent. Shorinji Kempo technical methods and elements can be separated broadly into Goho (hard method) and Juho (soft method).
