Surrey Park Swim Club is ranked 1st in Victoria following the Victorian Short Course Championships in Aug 2000. Surrey Park caters for all levels of squad training including a learn to swim program. It is based at the Whitehorse Aquatic and Leisure Center in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Surrey's Park's Head Coach and 2000 Olympic Swim Coach, Ian Pope has been with the club for 17 years. Ian Pope has been named the Top Victorian Coach in 1998, 1999 & 2000. Surrey Park Swim Club is the home of Australia's Champion Backstroker and 2000 Oylmpic Silver Medallist, Matt Welsh.

As an AUSSI Masters Swim Club, our aim is to provide a safe, managed environment to encourage adults, regardless of age or ability, to swim regularly in order to promote fitness and improve their general health. We enjoy the use of excellent facilities, sharing our training between two fifty metre pools based in Melbourne. We have access to training sessions six days a week, with both early morning and evening squads.
If you like the idea of fitness or competitive swimming, then Masters swimming may be for you. Our members span all ages and all abilities. What we have in common is the desire to maintain fitness, improve as individual swimmers, and enjoy each others companionship.
