The Community Alcohol Action Network (CAAN) is a new initiative of the Australian Drug Foundation, aimed at reducing some of the social and cultural pressures on young people to drink. CAAN was established in response to mounting community concern about underage drinking and binge drinking and is mobilising members of the community to take action against irresponsible alcohol use, alcohol advertising and alcohol supply.
