An Indigenous Gathering Place has been established at Maribyrnong in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
The centre will operate five days a week and provides a range of services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Melbourne's West.
It is located at 200 Rosamond Road, Maribyrnong, near Highpoint Shopping Centre.

We are a group of residents in Melbourne's inner west who are campaigning over the number of trucks using our residential streets. We want a ban on through trucks (those without a local destination) from using our streets. The EPA says there are no safe levels of exposure to diesel emmissions. We want the trucks on City Link, Westgate Freeway and other major roads where they belong, not on our residential streets.
