Microsoft Entourage 2004

Spam Filtering

1. Click the Tools menu
2. Select Rules



3. Click New



4. In the name of rule type SPAM
5. In the criteria section select Subject from the drop down menu
6. Within the adjacent field next to contains, type *****SPAM*****
7. Within the Action Section, click Remove action until no actions are left
8. Click Add Action

Options

If you wish to delete all email marked *****SPAM***** from the server...

1. Within the Action section, click the first drop down list and click select Delete message
2. Proceed to step 9

If you wish to download all email marked *****SPAM***** and store it in a separate folder...

1. Within the Action section, click the first drop down list and click select Move message
2. Click on Inbox and select Choose Folder



3. Click New



4. Type Spam
5. Tick Create subfolder of "Inbox"
6. Click Create
7. Select Spam
8. Click Choose

9. Click OK



10. Close Inbox rules window
11. Click the File menu
12. Click Quit

Those are all the settings you need. Microsoft Entourage 2004 will now deal with email marked *****SPAM***** automatically for you!
