Macintosh OS9: Dialling

Using a PPP terminal window

1. Click the Apple Menu at the top left of your screen
2. Click System Preferences



3. Click Network
4. Click the PPP tab
5. Click PPP Options...



6. Ensure Connect using a terminal window (command line) is ticked
7. Click OK
8. Click Apply Now
9. Click the System Prefs menu
10. Click Quit System Prefs

Testing your connection

1. Click the phone(modem) icon on the toolbar at the top of your screen



2. Click Connect



3. At the Vicnet login: prompt, type in your password
4. Press return
5. At the Password: prompt, type in in your password.

*Please note: You will not see your password or any characters being entered as you type

6. Press return
7. Click Continue
