Mailman - Unsubscribing

Unsubscribing people from the list

There are two ways to unsubscribe users from the mailing list. You can either use the Membership Management page or manually unsubscribe people from the list.

1. Using Membership Management
   
   Under the Membership Management page click 'Mass Removal'
   On this page you can either enter individual email addresses (as seen on a example mailing list below) or you can upload a text file with the list of email addresses. Then to save changes to the mailing list simply click "Submit your Changes" button.
   
   
2. Manually unsubscribing
   
   To manually subscribe yourself to the list you will need to send an email to listname-request@vicnet.net.au.
   In the body or subject of the email type:

   unsubscribe

   For the testing mailing below you would send an email to stuffing-request@vicnet.net.au
   This sends as request to the list owner who can approve / disapprove your request.

   An email is sent to you confirming your approval / disapproval. Please follow instructions (if any).
