Web Design: Publishing

There are three main methods of publishing a Web page:

Create it yourself

To be able to publish Web pages yourself, you obviously need to have the knowledge to create the Web pages by writing Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). If you do not already know HTML, you can try out one of the Vicnet Training courses.

Request help from volunteers

If you need a Web site now and don't have the resources to design one yourself, you can try the Vicnet Volunteer Web Design scheme.

If you get allocated with a Volunteer, you will need to provide all of the text information on disk and the pictures that need to be scanned and then meet up with the volunteer so you can sort out with them exactly what they will publish the Web Pages for you.

Have Vicnet design it for you

Vicnet can help build your Web site in three key areas:

  1. Concept development and structure
  2. Graphic design
  3. HTML
