Environment action group based in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Mordialloc. The League was formed in August 1969 and has constantly campaigned to protect the local environment. An audiovisual centre describing how volcanoes are formed. It is aimed at teaching school groups, and to explain to tourists the natural wonders of our area. The centre is situated in the former Mt Rouse Shire Council building, in itself worth a visit. Visitors can also access our computer slideshows, aimed at showing the extinct volcano, as well as Penshurst's colorful past, and our present.
