Brendan Scale says "Goodbye" to MTB scene

By Brendan Scale:

After a decade of service to the Mountain Bike scene, I have decided to call it quits.

I have devoted countless hours to the scene over the years through course design and construction, and event, team, and website management.

However, the work involved has been increasingly outweighing the fun for me and it is for this reason that I have ended all formal involement as at the end of 2005.

Some of the highlights of my decade in the sport have included building the Trafalgar 4X course and running events there, creating and managing 4XFEVA and finishing in the top 10 in Victoria in Downhill.

After a decade of service to the MTB scene, Brendan Scale, the man behind 4XFEVA and Trafalgar 4X is calling it quits.

I still thoroughly enjoy riding my GT Lopes hardtail and will continue to do so but any further involvement in the MTB scene will no longer happen for me.

Thanks to all those who have supported me through the years. I'd especially like to thank my sponsors: GT bicycles, Manitou suspension, SGD seats, Troy Lee Designs apparel, Sanitarium Weet-Bix, and Horsham Cyclery. I have had a lot of fun and have gained a lot of experience.

As far as the future of 4XFEVA and Trafalgar is concerned, PUSHI have kindly taken over management of both. You can email them at: info@pushi.com.au.

Keep pedalling...

Brendan.
