The Katandra and District History Group Inc is researching the life and times of the Katandra District during the period 1930 through to 1960. This period covers three very different decades, from the great depression, through World War Two and finally the prosperity of the 1950's. 

    If sufficient information is accumulated and a grant can be obtained we will produce a follow up book to our very successful "Hope and Hardship". This book will be titled "From Adversity to Prosperity" and will catalogue the memories and photographs, together with historic information, of the lives of families living in our district during those three decades.

    A questionnaire can be downloaded to help jog the memory of people who have lived in our district. If the questionnaire is printed off and filled in it can then be either scanned and emailed to us or posted to the address below. Download Questionnaire
