"Hope and Hardship" tells the story of more than 150 settler families who came to the Katandra district from 1919 to 1933.

A 55 page booklet detailing many events which have occurred within the Katandra district in the period 1870 to 1977. Numerous photographs of district buildings, local identities, sporting groups and community organisations are included in this historic publication.

"Ruth Tate's Scrapbook   1913 - 1923.  War Comes to a Country District"

110 page publication featuring newspaper cuttings scrap booked by Ruth Tate and covering a wide range of events including  WW1 enlistments, soldier's letters, casualties, memorial services and homecomings. District sporting events, local weddings, accidents, deaths and other items of interest are included. 12 pages of photographs pertaining to the items in the book are also included.

    These booklets were produced for the plaque commemorations at Pine Lodge North State School and Yabba South State School. They contain a brief history of the school together with known names and some memories of former pupils and teachers who attended the school. Some earlier class photographs, (one for Yabba South), are also included.
